# Tax Rates

Adjust your token's tax rates to suit your project's specific needs.

Set your tax rates during the token creation process; these rates become permanent after launch to prevent misuse. Taxes are configured for each type and include:

* **Buy (and removing liquidity) Tax Rate**
* **Sell (and adding liquidity) Tax Rate**
* **Transfer Tax Rate**

Whitelisted users are exempt from these rates.
